GCSE Results 2025
The 糖心live and Albert School is delighted to share this year鈥檚 GCSE results, which highlight another year of success for our students. Their achievements are a testament to the determination, resilience and integrity they have shown in working towards their aspirations. These results also demonstrate the school鈥檚 unwavering commitment to high academic standards and to fostering a caring, supportive community where every student can flourish.
This year鈥檚 outcomes continue the pattern of strong academic performance at the 糖心live and Albert School, following on from last week鈥檚 excellent A Level results. A large proportion of students achieved a 鈥榞ood pass鈥� in English and Maths, with 78% attaining a grade 4 or higher in these core subjects. In addition, 53% achieved a grade 5 or higher, classed as a 鈥榮trong pass鈥�. These results provide a robust platform for students as they move on to Level 3 study, opening the door to a wide range of future pathways.
Beau Ellis, who has been at the school since Year 3, was very happy opening his envelope. He said, 鈥淚 was completely shocked that I got a 9 in History because I was convinced that I was getting a 6, so I am still not sure how this is even possible. That was the biggest thing when I opened my results this morning!鈥� Beau has excelled in maths, securing grade 9 in both Mathematics and Further Mathematics GCSE. He is now eager to take the next step in his studies and specialise in the subject.聽
Leo Bygraves, reflected on his time at the school as well as his great results. He said, 鈥淢y time at RAAS has been really good. I have been here since Year 7, and it has been a great school. I wouldn鈥檛 have got these grades without being here and receiving the guidance of the teachers here. I feel very happy, I did quite well with my lowest [grade] as a 7 which I am extremely happy about. I got quite a few 8s and some 9s as well, which is amazing. I got the grades that I needed, so overall I am really happy with my results.鈥�
Today鈥檚 results day marked the culmination of five years of hard work for our Year 11 pupils, who celebrated their successes across an extensive range of subjects. Headteacher, Mr Morgan Thomas, praised the accomplishments of the students, saying: 鈥淭oday鈥檚 results highlight our students鈥� dedication, but also the commitment of the staff and families who have supported them throughout their journey. It is wonderful to see their hard work recognised in such strong outcomes across a broad range of subjects.
Examination success is just one part of their story. Our students have also grown as individuals, developing confidence and resilience. These are all qualities that will serve them well as they move forward. Whether they choose to remain with us in the Sixth Form, or continue their studies elsewhere, we are certain they will approach the future with ambition, courage, integrity and respect.鈥�
